FYI — I don’t plan to post anything new on this blog over the next couple of months.

Working hard at finishing out our time in Togo strongly, starting to try to piece together our future lives in the US and trying to stick faithfully to renewed spiritual and physical exercise regimens has left me with little time to write.

Oh – that and I have little to NO motivation to do so.

(I seriously doubt the new gaming console Santa is bringing for Christmas will help the situation any either!)

Anyways, I just wanted to do the courtesy of letting the handful of you who regularly check this page know not to expect anything new for a good while. I’ll be sure to let you know via our team newsletter (and maybe T’s blog) if and when I get something new up.

In the meantime, keep checking Tracey’s blog . She does a consistently fantastic job of posting pictures and sharing insights into our family’s lives.

Also, here’s a picture I plan for you to see hanging in our house whenever you come to visit us in the US. My favorite picture from our safari in Kenya last July. Peace.

Still Here…

1 11 2007

I’ve just not found the time (or motivation) to post anything.  I’ve got some great pictures from my time in London with Andy and lots to talk about — once I get to it.  Hopefully that will be sooner than later.

Thanks for hanging with me.

On the DL

16 08 2007

I’ve been on the blogging ‘disabled list’ for the past couple of days for two reasons.

First, our internet has been down since early Wednesday morning. Second, I aggravated an old wrist injury making typing painful. (I must confess that I did this playing too much Zuma – a fun, and highly addictive, game I recently downloaded for my iPod. Follow the link at your own risk!)

Anyways, due to the injury, I’ve been unable to finish typing out a village story I’ve been wanting to share with you for some time now. Thankfully, the internet and my wrist are on the mend.

Obviously, I’m back on the ‘active roster’ (consider this a rehab start) so, hopefully I’ll have that story ready to post soon.

Welcome (back)!

1 08 2007

Ok. So maybe I shouldn’t be welcoming myself back to the blogsphere, but I’m happy to be here. (And on a new site no less!) Tracey converted me to WordPress.com and after a 7 month hiatus, I’m well rested and ready to start blogging again. So, sit back, relax and enjoy the posts.

I’ve imported the posts from my old blog and over the next few days, I’ll be busy getting them categorized. I also have plans to write a little something explaining the title and theme of the new blog on the ‘about’ page. Hopefully, that will be ready soon.

New Creation

20 11 2006

There’s a new, beautiful lady on the Blogger block… my wife Tracey! She’s set up camp over here . Go check it out.

Aside from being the most gorgeous woman in the world, Tracey is very fun and insightful. Her blog is a great place to visit. (Plus, I have to confess, I like her page design better than mine. What’s more, she’s got the new Blogger Beta version and I’m still stuck with old one!)

Here’s hoping I can win just enough of our arm wrestling contest over posting rights to pictures of the boys to keep this blog interesting….

You Know You’ve Been Travelling Alot When…

8 10 2006

1) Your oldest son complains that his little brother left the GameBoy bag ‘unattended’. I guess some people actually listen to those airport public announcements.

2) Friends begin to ask you, “When are you going to post a new blog?”

Well, here it is. Our apologies for the delay.

Still Alive

23 07 2006

We may have fallen off the face of the earth as far as blog space is concerned, but we are still around! All the travel and transiency of our lives here in the States has made it difficult to post. Our apologies. As a peace offering, here are few pics of the boys.
